Lab Technician Port Dickson (Negeri Sembilan) - (Refinery) Responsibilities: Responsible for petroleum products testing and certification. To carry our necessary tests for all refinery petroleum products and environmental samples, and to be part of the laboratory team, which is responsible to ensure and maintain the quality and integrity of refinery petroleum products. Performs test required to maintain quality of process streams, finished products, and discharges wastes. Ensure all data are accurate and details of all tests are recorded and kept. Prepare quality reports and maintains records of all test results. Ensure that all samples are properly handled, labeled and retained according to procedures. Compare test results against targets, norms, and/or specifications and liaise with the appropriate personnel regarding the test. Prepare and standardize all necessary reagents in accordance with specified methods. Maintain laboratory equipment in good and accurate condition. Maintain equipment/test under statistical control through SQC (Statistical Quality Control Systems for Historical Data’s) Assist Senior Technician to maintain lab inventory and lab procurement system. Carry out basic trouble shooting and calibration of lab testing equipment. Other related responsibilities/duties assigned by the Lab Supervisor/Chemist. These are captured in the Lab Technician’s individual Lab Assignment List. Requirements: Technical Diploma or SPM/SPVM Minimum Credits in Science Subjects of SPM Able to comprehend and communicate in English Language.
