Jawatan Kosong Perbadanan Produktiviti Malaysia (MPC) Oktober 2011

The Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) which was formerly known as the National Productivity Corporation was established in 1962 as a joint project between the United Nations Special Fund and the Federal Government, with the International Labour Organisation acting as its executing agency. In 1966, the National Productivity Council (Incorporation) Act No. 19 was passed making the Centre an autonomous body. It was later amended as the National Productivity Council (Incorporation) (Amendment) Act A305 1975, to cater for expansion of the Centre`s role. This act was subsequently amended as the National Productivity Centre (Incorporation) (Amendment) Act A801 1991. With the Act coming into effect on 1 December 1991, the National Productivity Council became the National Productivity Corporation. Until recently, with effect from 21st February 2008 National Productivity Corporation (NPC) is now officially known as Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC). YB Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI) had signed the document enforcing National Productivity Corporation Act (Incorporated) (Amended) 2008 and set February 21, 2008 as the effective date of the said act. In keeping with the expanded role of the corporation, the act is now known as Malaysia Productivity Corporation Act (Incorporated) 1966.

The Central Terengganu Development Authority or better known as Lembaga Kemajuan Terengganu Tengah (KETENGAH) is among one of the regional development territories placed under the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development in accordance to the New Economic Policy of Malaysia. KETENGAH is located within the state of Terengganu, Peninsular Malaysia. The Central Terengganu Development Authority (KETENGAH) was incorporated on 12th April 1973 through Parliamentary Act No. 104/73 and was given the authority to execute economic and social development within an area covering 443,876 hectares and encompassing the interiors of Dungun, Kemaman and Hulu Terengganu Districts. On 12th June 1993, the Kenyir Lake Development Territory, Hulu Terengganu, an area of 209,199 hectares, was gazetted through the P.U.(B) 356 and area gazette plan No. PW486 as part of the KETENGAH territory, making the entire KETENGAH region a total of 653,075 hectares or approximately half the total size of the Terengganu state.

Social Security Organisation (SOCSO) was established in 1971 under the Ministry of Human Resources to implement and administer the Social Security schemes under the Social Security Act, 1969, the Employment Injury Insurance Scheme and Invalidity Pension Scheme. Under this scheme, employees are given protection related to employment injury, including accidents in the course of employment, occupational diseases, invalidity and death. Among the functions performed by SOCSO is registered employers and employees, collecting contributions of employers and employees, process claims and pay benefits to workers and dependents suffer. In addition, SOCSO also provides physical and vocational rehabilitation benefits, and promoting awareness of occupational safety and health. In July 1985, SOCSO status as a Government Department has been transformed into a statutory body. While on January 1, 1992, SOCSO have adopted their own remuneration, the New Remuneration System SOCSO (SSBP).
