MTEM is an umbrella organisation for Malay economic NGOs. It is created to provide a platform for uniting Malay economic NGOs and effectively promote a sustainable economic development for Malay community and the Nation. MTEM seeks to bridge the gap between policy and community, create new vibrant initiatives and opportunities and to provide critical feedback on policy effectiveness to policy makers. In line with our expansion plan, we are seeking for suitable candidates to join us as:-
1. Executive
Responsibilities:
Responsible for Administration, Research and Development, Stakeholder Management, Communication and Media or equivalent.
Work with Management and Department Managers on the overall direction, control and execution.
Cultivate harmonious working environment amongst the workforce through employee relations programs, counselling, coaching and intervention professionally.
Requirements:
-Possess at least a Degree in Economic / Stakeholder Management / Communication and Media or equivalent.
-Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
-At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
-Independent, responsible self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills.
-Mature individual with high level of professionalism, pleasant personality and work ethics.
-Strong organizational skills as well as analytical.
-Able to work independently with minimal supervision, creative and innovative.

2. Manager
Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced Manager with the following exposure and experiences:
Expertise in administration,business development, research and strategy,media and communication
To plan, organise and implement projects, programmes, and policy research in all areas of management for the Organisation and all subsidiaries when instructed by the Director.
To build morale and inculcate positive culture and attributes among employees.
To manage and supervise the work of senior executive, executives and support staff within the department.
Requirements:
-Candidates must possess at least a Bachelors Degree, Masters or equivalent in Human Resources, Social Science, Humanities, -Media and Communications or related discipline.
-Good written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
-Must be methodical, logical and organised.
-Result oriented with strong organising and planning skills.
-High capability in managing and motivating staff under pressure.
-8-10 years working experience.
-High integrity and honesty.
-Humble and able to handle mature working culture.
-Good at system implementation.
-Dynamic and tactful personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Team player who is a strategic thinker with good hands-on, multi-tasking abilities.
3. Assistant Senior Director
Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced candidate with the following exposure and experiences:
Responsible in assisting the Director for planning, organizing and managing of the overall Department operations which includes manpower planning, implementation of HR policies & procedures, staff training & development, compensation and benefits, research and development, media strategy and etc.
Requirements:
-Candidates must possess at least a Masters Degree in Economic/Human Resources/Social Sciences or equivalent.
-At least 10 years working experience in any areas.
-Good analytical skills.
-Good interpersonal skills and able to work in team.
-Good communication skills.
-Preferably specializing in Corporate Strategy/Top Management or equivalent.
-Experienced in handling the operations of a company.
-Passion of work especially in Malay Economic issues is important.
-Well acquainted with policies and procedures of government agencies on economic and entrepreneur matters
